Sake is a beverage road that often goes largely untraveled. For most of us, when we do consume sake it’s usually hot and with sushi. There are those in the know that have been experienced. They understand how elegant and graceful sake can be. For the rest of us that blindly pass by these wallflowers patiently waiting on the shelves to be noticed, where are these enlightened ones when we need them? Who is there to show us the error of our ways, to point out the true beauty of a chilled, high quality sake, such as a Junmai Daiginjo?
The answer is Michael Russell.
Michael Russell is there for us, with Premium Sake Collection. He will be at the Brasserie Thursday, March 30th to instruct us on the making of sake and guide us through six high quality sakes from his portfolio.
